The high temperatures and lack of rain this year are affecting the grape Montilla Moriles in Córdoba. Winegrowers are already looking for solutions to save this year’s harvest. There is a lot of grapes burned by the sun. So part of the harvest has already been lost. To save the situation, the winegrower Ramón Agraz has chosen to spray his vineyards with kaolin. A natural antithermal treatment that seems to be helping. A dry and hot year that is putting in check a sector that sees how the sun is drying its harvest.
